We've been completely blessed and strengthened by our prayer shield. It's great to know that you have people praying for you. When there are things going on that we are road blocked, or perplexed about, we have had tremendous support from our team with insight from the Lord. It can be hard to see things or hear from God when you are 'under it', so to have people that you trust and regularly pray for you input into the situation - it's been liberating and fantastic. Do you like war movies? I do – love 'em ! When I watch them, I get LOTS of symbolism out of them. New Years Resolutions Ok so I'm not the biggest fan of 'new year resolutions'. They tend to be mostly about losing weight, joining a gym.. having more consistent devotions or keeping your house clean. All good stuff I suppose, but then why is it that statistics show that we most of those resolutions are broken within 4-6 weeks. Could it be that there is something else we should be focusing on? Could there be some deeper or hidden issues that are at the root of why we can't keep those resolutions? Something to think about. When a leader decides to step out and ask for Prayer it's like 'drawing a line in the sand' and saying ' That's enough!' When a leader asks for prayer, it can also be a humbling experience because it's often hard for many of us to ask for the very thing we need. There is always the lie of the enemy too, that says , ' Who am I, to be asking for a prayer shield? I'm not important. ' Well, if you are influencing for the Kingdom of God, if you are doing what God's asked of you, and taking ground for the Kingdom - who are you not to ask for prayer coverage ?!!
