Who needs a prayer shield?

Whether you are a pastor/leader in a local church, or an influencer for the Kingdom in areas of business, finances, government, family, media/arts or education - you need to be getting prayer coverage. Anyone, who is taking ground for, and influencing their area of vision/service, for the Kingdom - needs to getting proper, consistent and intentional prayer coverage.

    I need prayer for my situation. I runs a small business and things have been going from bad to worse for the last five years. My family & I are literally starving. Do you like war movies? I do – love 'em ! When I watch them, I get LOTS of symbolism out of them. For Leaders wanting a Prayer Shield...

When a leader decides to step out and ask for Prayer it's like 'drawing a line in the sand' and saying ' That's enough!' When a leader asks for prayer, it can also be a humbling experience because it's often hard for many of us to ask for the very thing we need. There is always the lie of the enemy too, that says , ' Who am I, to be asking for a prayer shield? I'm not important. ' Well, if you are influencing for the Kingdom of God, if you are doing what God's asked of you, and taking ground for the Kingdom - who are you not to ask for prayer coverage ?!! Ask yourself who has benefited for hundreds of years, by convincing leaders ( whether in the church field or the business community), that they are 'not important enough' to be calling for prayer coverage? New Years Resolutions Ok so I'm not the biggest fan of 'new year resolutions'. They tend to be mostly about losing weight, joining a gym.. having more consistent devotions or keeping your house clean. All good stuff I suppose, but then why is it that statistics show that we most of those resolutions are broken within 4-6 weeks. Could it be that there is something else we should be focusing on?
